Mission
To keep Chamber membership informed about natural resource issues including timber and forestry, taconite and mining, and travel and tourism and to actively support Chamber policies related to the responsible management of federal, state, county, and private lands, the strength of Minnesota’s natural resource industries, and the overall economic vitality of the State of Minnesota.
Purpose
Actively support the Minnesota Chamber’s Environment & Natural Resources Policy Committee in advancing statewide legislative priorities related to timber and forestry, taconite and mining, and travel and tourism. This includes support for responsible land and resource management, permit streamlining, sustainable development, protection of tourism assets, and policies that balance economic opportunity with environmental and community stewardship.
